CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago softball team hosts Brandeis this weekend for their final series of the year as the Maroons will honor their senior and alumni over the weekend.

UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:

* The Maroons enter their weekend series with an 18-19 record overall and a 7-8 record in the UAA.
* UChicago picked up their first three-game series sweep in UAA history last weekend, outscoring NYU 22-0 in the series.
* Paige Heffke has been huge for the Maroons on the mound this season with a 2.43 ERA, a 0.99 WHIP, and 103 strikeouts.
* Heffke is just 1 start and 2 appearances from breaking the career school records in both categories. She also broke the school record as just the second player in UChicago history to pitch 500 innings in a career.
* Sedona Ding has had a breakout freshman season for UChicago as she has tallied a .474 on-base percentage with 37 hits and 23 walks. She also broke the UChicago single-season record with 28 stolen bases after swiping 5 bags at NYU.
* Laila Sims broke the all-time stolen bases record for UChicago earlier this season. She sits atop the charts with 76 stolen bases in her career, including 17 this season.
* Madeline Murphy ranks top-10 in school history with 6 career triples and 41 career stolen bases.
* Natalie Antin has been the top offensive threat for the Maroons this season with a 0.360 batting average and 40 hits. The sophomore boasts an impressive 0.392 career average.
* UChicago is two wins away from their third consecutive 20-win season, and they are three wins away from their fourth consecutive winning season.

BRANDEIS NOTES:

* Brandeis enters the weekend at 8-27-1 overall and 3-12 in the UAA.
* The Judges have lost five straight games following a doubleheader sweep by Tufts and a three-game series sweep by Case Western Reserve.
* Brandeis is looking for just their second three-game series win of the season after winning two of three over NYU back in March.
* Brooke Boehmer is the lone Brandeis player hitting over .300 this season with a .358 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage. 
* Ragini Kanna leads the Judges in the circle with a 4.31 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP on the season.

* Brandeis leads the all-time series 4-3 over UChicago.
* The two teams split their last doubleheader in 1997.
