LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Chicago softball team had 17 players earn the NFCA Scholar-Athlete award after a successful 2025 season, as released by the National Fastpitch Softball Association.

NFCA Scholar-Athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale, and they also recognize the top-10 academic teams by overall GPA with those teams being announced at a later date.
