RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Chicago had 30 student-athletes from its swimming and diving teams named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. With over 2,700 honorees across all divisions, the Maroons were well represented, placing 15 men and 15 women on the prestigious list.
To earn Scholar All-America First Team honors, student-athletes must have competed at their respective national championships and achieved a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Second Team honorees also required a minimum 3.5 GPA, along with either a national "B" time standard or qualification for a diving zone meet.

This marks the fourth consecutive season that the Maroons have had 30 or more student-athletes receive the Scholar All-America distinction.
