CHICAGO -- The University of Chicago men's track and field team returns to action this weekend with a pair of meets. Five distance runners will travel to UW-Whitewater on Friday night for the 5000m Run. Then, the full team will return to action on Saturday as the Maroons host the Windy City Rumble, their second 

UCHICAGO MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD NOTES:

* The University of Chicago men's track and field team has picked up a 1st-place finish at the Phoenix Invite and a 2nd-place finish at the Cougar Alumni Classic this season.
* The Maroons won their first UAA Indoor Championship title since 2008 and just the third UAA Indoor title in program history during the indoor season in 2025.
* UChicago currently sits at #22 in NCAA Division III and #3 in the Midwest Region by the USTFCCCA.
* The Maroons enter the weekend with 11 athletes ranked in the top-2 of the UAA, 7 athletes ranked in the top-5 of the Midwest Region, and 7 athletes ranked in the top-20 of the NCAA Division III.
* Aryan Shrivastava is ranked 8th in NCAA Division III, 3rd in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the Triple Jump with a mark of 14.69 meters.
* Shrivastava is also ranked 8th in NCAA Division III, 1st in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the High Jump with a mark of 2.03 meters.
* Simon Dixon is ranked 9th in NCAA Division III, 3rd in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the Shot Put with a mark of 16.90 meters.
* Dixon is also ranked 19th in NCAA Division III, 5th in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the Weight Throw with a mark of 17.71 meters.
* Evan Parker is ranked 12th in NCAA Division III, 6th in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 5000m Run with a time of 14:29.79.
* Grant Musick is ranked 19th in NCAA Division III, 8th in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 3000m Run with a time of 8:20.18.
* Musick is also ranked 5th in the Midwest Region and 4th in the UAA in the Mile Run with a time of 4:13.85.
* Adrian Diem is ranked 20th in NCAA Division III, 5th in the Midwest Region, and 5th in the UAA in the Pole Vault with a mark of 4.70 meters.
* Nathaniel Stuit is ranked 2nd in the Midwest Region and 1st in the UAA in the 400m Dash with a time of 49.04 seconds.
* Paul Sackman is ranked 2nd in the UAA in the 200m Dash with a time of 22.56 seconds.
* Sackman is also ranked 2nd in the UAA in the 60m Dash with a time of 6.95 seconds.
* Oluwaseyi Kadiri is ranked 2nd in the UAA in the Triple Jump with a mark of 14.14 meters.
* Karsten Kropp is ranked 2nd in the UAA in the High Jump with a mark of 1.98 meters.
* After competing in the Windy City Rumble this weekend, the Maroons will return to the road next weekend as they travel to Michigan for the Mike Lints Invitational at Grand Valley State on February 7.
