CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's tennis team returns to action this weekend as the Tigers travel to Greencastle, Indiana to battle the DePauw Tigers. There will be no live results available at the match, but there is a live video stream to follow along.

#2 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:

* UChicago comes into the weekend with an 0-1 record on the season.
* The Maroons fell 3-4 to #19 Grand Valley State last weekend in the opening match of the spring.
* Anika Paul earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors after bringing home of the two singles wins for the Maroons. Paul won her #3 singles match 6-1, 6-2 over the Lakers.
* Isabelle Chong added the lone other win for the Maroons as she came out with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win at #6 singles.
* This fall, Sarena Biria became the eighth player in UChicago women's tennis history to win the ITA Central Regional singles title after a 6-0 record on the weekend.
* Biria reached the ITA Cup and finished with a win in the consolation semifinals, earning a 2-1 record overall.
* Paul joined Biria in the semifinals with wins over Case Western (2), Denison, and WashU before falling to Biria in an All-UChicago semifinal.
* After their match with the Tigers on Sunday, the Maroons will take a trip to Milwaukee for a pair of DI contests against Marquette and Milwaukee on February 14 and 15.

DEPAUW UNIVERSITY:

* DePauw comes into the weekend with a 1-1 record on the season.
* The Tigers fell to Huntington 6-1 on Sunday, but they took down Rose-Hulman 6-1 in the spring season opener on Tuesday.
* Katie King leads DePauw this season with a 4-3 record at #1 singles. King reached the Round of 64 in the ITA Regionals with a three-set win over Anderson, and she added a three-set win over Rose-Hulman on Tuesday.
* Valerie Doherty joined King in the Round of 64 of the ITA Regional Tournament with a win over Kalamazoo. Doherty also earned a 6-2, 6-1 win over Rose-Hulman at #3 singles on Tuesday.
* Doherty and Briah O'Neal have won a team-high five doubles matches this season after taking down Rose-Hulman 7-6(9-7) on Tuesday.
* The duo defeated Kalamazoo in the opening round of the ITA Regional Tournament before falling to Case Western Reserve in the Round of 32.
* Elle Loch also has a team-high four singles wins for the Tigers, including a win at #2 singles against the Fightin' Engineers.
* In addition to their match with UChicago, the Tigers will take on Kalamazoo at 2 PM ET, following their match with the Maroons.

SERIES HISTORY:

* UChicago holds a 20-9 lead in the all-time series with DePauw.
* The Maroons have won 10 consecutive matches with the Tigers, dating back to 2016.
* The last win in the series for DePauw came 5-4 in 2015.
* The Tigers have not won a single individual match against the Maroons since their 8-1 loss at the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin in 2019.
