Donna Guy enters her 23rd year as the Business Administrator at the University of Chicago in the 2025-26 academic year.

Her scope of responsibility includes handling all human resource tasks, assisting in departmental budget and financial processes and administering day-to-day operations for the department.

Guy owns a bachelor’s degree of science in management from National-Louis University and her master’s in business administration from Roosevelt University.  

A native Chicagoan, Guy began her tenure at University of Chicago in March 2004, where began as an a payment specialist in the comptroller office before moving into an adminstrative assistant role in UChicago Medicine's pedriatics hematolgy and oncology department.

She began her role in Athletics & Recreation in 2008.

Prior to UChicago, Guy worked in the Telecommunications Industry for 18 years as a human resources and budget Analyst with AT&T/Lucent Technologies in Naperville, Ill.

Guy grew up in the Englewood neighborhood and now resides in South Holland, Ill.
