Linnea Kremer

    Volunteer Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

Linnea Kremer enters her fifth year as the Volunteer Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at the University of Chicago in the 2025-26 academic year.

Kremer played collegiate soccer at Roanoke College, where she was a four-year starter and senior captain under head coach Philip Benne. She helped lead the team to the 2016 Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship. She was a member of the 2015 and 2016 All-ODAC team and was on the All-Academic ODAC team all four years.

After graduating from Roanoke, Kremer went onto play soccer and futsal in England at the University of Nottingham while getting her master’s and training with semi-professional teams, including Nottingham Forest Women. Upon her return from England, Kremer continued to play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League for the Cincinnati Sirens in 2019. She currently trains with Chicago City S.C.

Kremer graduated from Roanoke in 2017 with a B.S. in Physics. She received her M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Nottingham in 2018, where she passed with distinction. In fall of 2019, she started her PhD in Medical Physics at the University of Chicago.
