CHICAGO - The University of Chicago men's basketball team delivered a commanding performance, cruising to an 87-63 victory over Wheaton College. The Maroons shot an impressive 57.4% from the field, including 8 of 22 from beyond the arc, and outpaced Wheaton with a strong, balanced offensive attack.

- Despite some shooting struggles from early on, the Maroons maintained their offensive flow, with key contributions off the bench.
- Wheaton struggled to keep pace with UChicago, shooting just 39.1% from the field and failing to get consistent offensive production. The Maroons' depth and shooting efficiency were too much for Wheaton to overcome, as UChicago continued to widen the gap throughout the game.
- The Maroons' defense was also key in limiting Wheaton's chances, forcing difficult shots and securing the win with a final score of 87-63.
