CHICAGO – The University of Chicago track and field team dominated at the Aurora Grand Prix as they continue on their busy indoor season. Both the Maroons women's and men's squads captured first place finishes in the ultra-competitive event.

MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- The men put together another solid performance against strong local competition and had a couple of first-place winner to show for it during the races on Saturday. Andrew Ray stood at the top of the podium winning the men's 400-meter race as John List took home the top finishing time on the men's 3000-meter race.
- Noah Bender also captured a top finish for Chicago in the 5000-meter. Though many of the men's points came from the field as Simon Dixon Jr. dominated in shot put and the weight throw for UChicago.
UCHICAGO MEN'S TOP FINISHERS
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Claudia Harnett took the top place finish to capture a win for UChicago running a time of 4:52.31 in the women's mile. Junior Nora Holmes finished behind her in fourth place with a time of 5:00.95. Chicago had a total of seven of the top 15 finishes in the event.
- Gabi Meschino came back looking for another dominant year with the Maroons. At the prix, Meschino finished in third for the women's 60 meter hurdles.
- In the women's pole vault, the Maroons dominated two out of the three top finishes with Reece Baker taking the crown in the event with a height of 3.35 meters.
