CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's volleyball team continues their stretch of top-10 matchups this weekend as they travel to Whitewater, Wisconsin to battle #4 UW-Whitewater at 4 PM on Saturday. The Maroons took down #5 WashU last Sunday, and they will play #7 Emory next weekend.
(RV) UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:
*Â UChicago enters the weekend with a 7-8 record overall and 2-1 in the UAA following the first of three UAA Round Robins.
*Â The Maroons picked up wins over Rochester (3-0) and #5 WashU (3-2) in their first three UAA matches of the year.
*Â UChicago has played six top-20 teams this season through their first 15 games, and they have compiled a 2-4 record in those contests.
*Â The Maroons have picked up two five-set wins over top-10 teams this season including #8 Hope and #5 WashU.
* With matchups against #4 UW-Whitewater and #7 Emory in the next two games, it will be the second time this season that UChicago has played three top-10 teams in consecutive games.

Diya Mishra became the 13th player in program history to supass 1,000 career kills. She sits at 1,053 for her career as she looks to continue to climb into the top-10.
*Â Mishra earned UAA Defensive Player of the Week honors last week after finishing the opening UAA Round Robin with 46 kills, 32 digs, and 10 service aces.

Olivia Zamis has dominated the defensive front line as she is leading the team with 48 blocks and 0.87 blocks per set.

 Ellie Maxwell and
Hillary Cheung have shared the setting duties on the season, and the duo has combined for 492 assists and 40 service aces in 2025.
*Â After taking on #4 UW-Whitewater, the Maroons will travel to Cleveland for the second UAA Round Robin where they will take on #7 Emory and Brandeis in UAA action.
#4 UW-WHITEWATERÂ NOTES:Â
* The Warhawks enters the weekend with a 15-2 record overall and a 2-1 record in WIAC play this season.
* UW-Whitewater is currenlty on a four-game win streak and have a perfect 8-0 record on their home floor.Â
* The Warhawks are on game five of a stretch with 13 out of 14 games on their home court.
* Abbie Dix leads the team with 171 kills and 72 blocks, and she leads the WIAC in blocks, blocks per set, and hitting percentage.
* With 564 assists on the year, Aubrie Krzus leads the WIAC in both assists and assists per set.
* Natalie Lawton has paced the defense for the Warhawks, ranking 1st in the WIAC in digs per set (4.79) and 4th in total digs (278).
* Following their match with UChicago, UW-Whitewater will remain at home as they host Hardin-Simmons, Carroll (WI), and Lawrence.
