CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's soccer team will have a quick turnaround as they prepare to host hometown rivals, Illinois Tech, in a Monday afternoon matchup. The Maroons are coming off their first UAA conference win against NYU on Saturday.
* The Maroons enter Monday with a 9-0-1 record on the season after extending their unbeaten streak to ten games with a 3-2 victory of #25 NYU over the weekend.Â
* The 9-0-1 start to the season is the longest unbeaten start to a year for a UChicago team since they started the 2021 season with a 10-0-2 record.
* The UAA has been outstanding in the non-conference this year with a 65-2-13 record and a goal differential of 253-32.
* UChicago will look to reach their 11th NCAA Tournament in the last 12 seasons with their lone miss since 2013 in 2022.Â

Kate Bruntlett lead the team with five goals each on the year. Kerrigan joined the five- goal club after her brace in the UAA opener to help the Maroons pick up the 3-2 victory.

Karena Shah follow closely behind Kerrigan and Bruntlett in scoring as well. Braxton Grimes notched her fourth goal in the 3-2 victory, and Shah has found the back of the net three times this year.

Ella Cho leads the team with 5 assists on the season after her two-assist performance in the 2-1 win over North Central (IL).

Amy Reifert has recorded 441 wins in her illustrious career. She sits 6th all-time in career Division III wins and 22nd all-time among all levels of the NCAA.

 Sophia Sasaki has been excellent in goal with a GAA of just 0.47 and 17 saves to go along with 4 clean sheets on the year.
* After Monday night's game, the Maroons will head to Pittsburgh to take on #16 Carnegie Mellon for another UAA test.
