RESULTS

WHEATON, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's track and field team recorded 14 top-2 finishes as the Don Church Invitational at Wheaton on Thursday afternoon.

The 4x100m Relay team of Maddie Lyons, Gabriela Meschino, Camila Garanton, and Arielle Troadec put up the top performance of the meet for the Maroons as their time of 47.31 seconds won the event and ranks 3rd in UChicago history.

Claudia Harnett also found her way into the UChicago record book in the meet as her career-best time of 4:30.41 in the 1500m Run ranks as the 5th-fastest in UChicago hsitory and resulted in an event win for the Maroons.

Brooke Caldwell was the lone UChicago student-athlete to put up multiple career-best marks in the meet. She recorded the 8th-best mark in UChicago history in the Hammer Throw at 147' 9", and she also tallied a career-best mark of 36' 1.25" in the Shot Put.

Camila Garanton, Sophie Menon, Lauren Moskal, and Sophie Tedesco rounded out the event winners for the Maroons as the team won six total events in the meet.

Following the Don Church Invitational, the Maroons will return to action on April 26-27 as they travel to New York City for the UAA Outdoor Championships.
