#21 Lacrosse Heads to Ohio for NCAA Tournament Second Round

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's lacrosse team will head to Wooster College for the opening rounds of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Maroons will battle the College of Wooster on Saturday at 3 PM ET after the Fighting Scots took down Hope 20-9 in the opening round.

#21 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:

* The University of Chicago women's lacrosse team enters the tournament with a 12-4 record overall on the season.
* This will be the fifth-straight tournament appearance for the Maroons, and the team will be looking for their fourth-straight tournament with a win.
* UChicago has taken on five top-25 teams so far in 2025, the most top-25 games the Maroons have played in a single season in program history.
* Lulu Hardy has been the offensive star throughout her entire career. She ranks second on the team with 42 goals and 7 assists, and she recorded her 300th career point in the win over Albion earlier this season, sitting at 323 in her career.
* Peyton McGuire joins Hardy with over 40 goals in 2025 as she leads the team with 43 goals and 55 points.
* Jane Chen leads the team with 29 assists so far this season, ranking top-10 in single-season assists in program history.
* Kali Konstantinakos leads the UChicago defensive unit with 36 caused turnovers and 35 ground balls so far this season. She broke the all-time record for career caused turnovers in the final game of the regular season.
* Rachel Keefe has been a star in goal for the Maroons with 110 saves on 318 shots on goal for a 0.503 save percentage this season.
* Keefe recorded her 400th career save in the loss to #20 Stevens.

WOOSTER NOTES:

* Wooster enters the tournament with a 16-3 record after receiving an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
* The Scots fell to Denison in the NCAC Tournament Championship for one of their two losses to the Big Red this season.
* After a record breaking year, junior Brynne Snaguski leads the Scots with 42 goals in her 19 starts.
* Goalie Audre Richardson has been fantastic in her 19 games, collecting 105 saves.
