The Maroons open the season November 7-8 in De Pere, Wisconsin, at the Nicolet National Bank Tip-Off Tournament, taking on St. Norbert and UW-Oshkosh. The following weekend, UChicago hosts the annual Midway Classic, welcoming Marian (WI) and Tufts to Ratner Athletic Center. The men's team will also host four games during the seven-game tournament weekend.
Four additional non-conference home games are on the schedule, with UChicago set to face Rose-Hulman (Nov. 22), Elmhurst (Nov. 29), Illinois Wesleyan (Dec. 16), and Albion (Dec. 30).
The Maroons will also travel to Carroll-WI (Nov. 25), Calvin (Dec. 6), and Wheaton-IL (Jan. 3) to round out non-conference play.
University Athletic Association action tips off January 10 when UChicago hosts WashU. The Maroons then hit the road for their first Friday-Sunday conference weekend at Case Western and Carnegie Mellon (Jan. 16-18).
A four-game homestand follows from January 23 to February 1, with Brandeis, NYU, Rochester, and Emory all visiting Ratner. After a road trip to Rochester and Emory, UChicago closes its home slate February 13-15 against Case Western and Carnegie Mellon. The regular season ends with three consecutive road games at Brandeis, NYU, and WashU.
UChicago's 2025-26 schedule includes eight matchups against 2024-25 NCAA Division III Tournament teams. The Maroons will face two of last year's Final Four squads: national champion NYU and national semifinalist UW-Oshkosh. Other NCAA opponents include Sweet 16 qualifiers Illinois Wesleyan and Carnegie Mellon, as well as Calvin and Tufts, who both fell in the tournament's opening round.
The Maroons are aiming for their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2022-23, when they advanced to the Sweet 16. After starting the 2024-25 season 12-2, UChicago dropped eight of its final 11 games to close the year, so they will look to bounce back this season.
Fans can catch the Maroons in action during the 2025-26 home opener at the Midway Classic, November 14-16, at Ratner Athletic Center.
