CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's soccer team returns to their home pitch on Saturday night to host the Aurora Spartans in a late-night Saturday showdown.
* The Maroons come into the game with an 1-1-2 record on the season after picking up their second 0-0 draw of the season on Wednesday at Wheaton (IL).
* UChicago picked up their lone win of the season last Saturday with a 1-0 victory over MSOE.
* The Maroons have recorded three consecutive clean sheets, and they have held their opponents without a goal for 333 consecutive minutes.

Alex Gomas scored the first goal of the season for the Maroons of an assist from
Chase Perry in the loss to the Gusties.

Evan Kanellos buried a penalty kick in the 77th minute to give the Maroosn the first win of the year with a 1-0 victory.

Ali Alamery made 10 saves en route to his first career clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with St. Olaf. His 10 saves are the most by a UChicago goalkeeper since 2012.
* Alamery is the first UChicago goalkeeper since Will Boyes in 2022 to record three consecutive clean sheets.

Ethan Peet as the lone two Maroons to play every minute during the 2025 season.

Jadyn Hsieh-Bailey has taken the most shots for UChicago with 9 during the first four games, including six shots in the 0-0 draw with Wheaton (IL) on Wednesday.
* After Saturday's game against the Spartans, the Maroons will return to their home field for the second game of a threegame homestand against Hope College.

* Aurora enters the weekend with a 1-1-2 record overall on the season.
* The Spartans are coming off a pair of draws with Loras (3-3) and Greenville (1-1) in their past two games.
* Walter Delapaz scored the late equalizer in the 88th minute on Wednesday to conserve the draw with the Panthers.
* Josue Roman leads the offensive attack for the Spartans with four goals and an assist through four games.
* Branden Dolezal and Delapaz have also scored two goals for the eight Aurora goals on the year.
* In goal, Alex Ageladelis has recorded 18 saves and a 1.75 GAA on the season.
* Following their match with the Maroons, Aurora will return to action with another match in Chicago against Illinois Tech on Wednesday night.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Aurora leads the all-time series between the two teams 15-13-2, but UChicago comes into this weekend's match with a seven-game win streak.
* The Maroons took home a 4-2 victory last season with
