CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's soccer team will travel to Michigan this weekend for a pair of non-conference matches against MIAA foes. The Maroons will take on Hope on Saturday before battling Kalamazoo on Sunday.
*Â The Maroons enter the weekend with a 5-0 record on the season after picking up a 2-0 victory on the road against the North Park Vikings on Wednesday night.
*Â The 5-0 start to the season is the best start to a season and the longest winning streak for a UChicago team since they started the 2021 season with a perfect 8-0 record.
*Â The UAA has been nearly perfect as a conference this season with a 42-2-7 record and a goal differential of 168-22 as a league. #2 Emory (7-0) and #6 UChicago (5-0) are the only unblemished squads in the UAA so far this season.
*Â UChicago will look to reach their 11th NCAA Tournament in the past 12 seasons with their lone miss since 2013 coming in 2022.

Kate Bruntlett earned UAA Offensive Player of the Week honors on the opening weekend. The freshman has scored five goals in her first four career games. She is the first UChicago player to score in four consecutive games since Hanna Watkins in 2019.

*Â After Saturday's game, the Maroons will continue their five-game roadtrip with the game in Michigan of the weekend as they travel to Kalamazoo to take on the Hornets on Sunday.
HOPE NOTES:Â
* Hope enters the weekend with a 4-2-1 overall record after defeating Wheaton (IL) 3-0 on September 16.
* The Flying Dutch have posted three shutouts in their four wins this season, outscoring opponents 14-8 overall.
* Junior forward Olivia Dieppa leads the attack with three goals, including game-winners against Capital and Wheaton (IL).
* Sophomore Claudia Folkert has also netted three goals on just eight shots for a team-high .375 shooting percentage.
* Midfielders Lina Rea and Halle Barnard have chipped in two goals apiece, while Adelyn Raad leads the squad with three assists.
* Goalkeeper Clara Feenstra has started all seven matches, making 23 saves with a .742 save percentage and two clean sheets.
* Hope has been strong on set pieces, earning 53 corner kicks through seven games compared to only 16 for their opponents.
* Following this weekend's matchup, the Flying Dutch will continue non-conference play as they travel to Delaware, Ohio to battle Ohio Wesleyan.
