CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago men's soccer team returns to Hyde Park for the first time in 2025 as they host the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders on Saturday, September 6 at 4 PM.
* The Maroons come into the game with an 0-1-1 record on the season after suffering a 2-1 loss to #19 Gustavus Adolphus and adding a 0-0 draw with (RV) St. Olaf.
*Â UChicago is coming off a 7-8-3 season with a 2-2-3 record in the UAA that culminated with a 4th-place finish.
*Â The Maroons missed the NCAA Tournament in 2024 for the first time since 2013, snapping a stretch of nine consecutive years earning a postseason berth.
*Â The 2024 season was also the first season with single-digit wins since 2013 and the first season with a losing record since 2008 for the University of Chicago.

Ali Alamery made 10 saves en route to his first career clean sheet in the 0-0 draw with St. Olaf. His 10 saves are the most by a UChicago goalkeeper since 2012.

Kai Walsh are the lone UChicago players to take more than 2 shots on the season. Jimenez leads the team with 4, and Walsh has added 3.
*Â After Sunday's game, the Maroons will return to Hyde Park for their 2025 home opener against MSOE on Saturday, September 6.
MSOE NOTES:Â
* MSOE comes into the weekend with a 2-0-1 record on the year.
* The Raiders are coming off a 1-1 draw on Thursday against North Central (IL).
* MSOE opened the season with a pair of wins on their Michigan road trip with a 5-1 win over Calvin and a 1-0 win over (RV) Hope.
* Nico Picha leads the Raiders with three goals in the first three games of the season. He scored the game-winning goals in each of the first two wins over Hope and Calvin.
* Asher Harris has made 14 saves on 16 shots on target on the year for a 0.69 GAA.
* Following their match with the Maroons, MSOE will return to action on Wednesday, September 10 as they host the North Park Vikings.
SERIES HISTORY:
*Â This will be the first-ever meeting between the Maroons and the Raiders in men's soccer.
* UChicago holds a 59-40-10 all-time record against schools in the NACC with the most wins coming against Benedictine-IL (13), Aurora (13), and Illinois Tech (7).
