CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's volleyball team continues the Rosalie Resch Invitational on Saturday as they take on Lawrence University at 1:30 PM and Illinois Tech at 6:30 PM.
*Â UChicago enters Saturday with a 2-2 record on the season after picking up wins over Greenville and Earlham before falling to #19 Illinois Wesleyan and #20 UW-Eau Claire.
*Â The Maroons recorded a reverse sweep in the five-set win over Earlham after dropping the first two sets. The reverse sweep was the first for a UChicago team since their win over Texas Lutheran in the NCAA Tournament in 2022.
* UChicago opened the Rosalie Resch Invitational on Friday night with a 4-set loss to #20 UW-Eau Claire. The Maroons hit just .024 in the match which was their lowest hitting percentage since their 2021 loss to Carthage.
*Â The Maroons played a pair of top-25 opponents in their first four games of the season for the first time in program history.

Ellie Maxwell has recorded double-doubles in three of the first four games of her college career.
*Â Maxwell also recorded 6 service aces in the five-set win over Earlham. Her 6 service aces are the most by a UChicago player since Maya Patel in 2021.

Thalita Marangon recorded 31 digs in the five-set win over Earlham. She became the first Maroon to record 30+ digs in a match since
Kennedy Cheung against Case Western in 2023.

Olivia Zamis tallied 7 blocks in her collegiate debut in the 3-1 win over Greenville. She is the first Maroon with 7+ blocks in a match since Jillian Amsler in 2023.
*Â After wrapping up the Rosalie Resch Invitational, the Maroons will travel to Wisconsin for their toughest weekend of the season as they take on #3 Hope, #6 UW-Oshkosh, and #7 La Verne.
LAWRENCE NOTES:Â
* Lawrence enters Saturday with a 6-1 record overall on the season.
* After dropping their season opener to Lakeland, the Vikings have won six consecutive matches.
* Lawrence opened the Rosalie Resch Invitational with a 5-set win over Illinois Tech.
* Margaret Hahnke leads the Vikings with 118 kills and 18 service aces and ranks 1st in the MWC in both categories.
* Audrey Weier paces Lawrence with a .300 hitting percentage and 17 blocks on the year.
* Aria Wessel leads the MWC in digs with 122, and Ally Corrente leads the MWC in assists with 283.
