CHICAGO -- The top-ranked University of Chicago men's basketball team returns to the road for the first time in three weeks as the Maroons begin the second half of the UAA season at Rochester at 5:30 PM ET.
#6 UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO NOTES:
* » UChicago enters the game with a 16-2 record on the season and 6-1 in the UAA. The Maroons have won 14 of their past 15 games, including a win over #1 Emory on Sunday.
* The Maroons' 74-64 win over #1 Emory was just the second win over the #1 overall team in the country in school history.
* UChicago rose to the #1 team in the country in the latest D3hoops.com Top-25 poll. This marks just the second time in school history that the Maroons were ranked #1 in the country, joining the latest time on February 26, 2001.

Shane Regan and
Nick Roper became the first two Preseason All-Americans in UChicago history this season. The duo was also just named to the Bevo Francis Top-100 Watch List and the Trevor Hudgins Top-25 Watch List for the best player in small college basketball.
* Regan leads the team with 18.1 points per game on 50.9% shooting, while adding 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
* Roper has also added 14.6 points with 7.8 rebounds while shooting over 55% from the floor. He grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds while scoring 25 points in the win over Wheaton.

Eamonn Kenah joins the graduate student duo in scoring in double figures with 11.4 points per game with 44% shooting from long range on 42 made triples this season.

Joe Berry became the 19th player in school history to score 1,000 career points. Kenah sits 49 points from joining Berry in reaching the 1,000-point milestone.

Mike McGrath has compiled a career record of 373-262, and he ranks top 50 in NCAA DIII in active wins.
* After battling Rochester on Friday night, the Maroons will fly to Atlanta for their return trip with #7 Emory.
UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER NOTES:
* Rochester comes into the weekend with a 9-9 record overall and a 2-5 record in UAA play.
* The Yellowjackets have dropped eight of their last ten games with the lone wins in that span coming over (RV) Carnegie Mellon (96-82) and Case Western (97-88).
* Tomiwa Adetosoye leads the UAA in both Steals (45) and Made Free Throws (97).
* Adetosoye also ranks 2nd in Assists (80) and 7th in Points/Game (17.5).
* Corvin Oprea is the top scorer for Rochester with 17.8 points per game and a team-high 45 made triples.
* Oprea also leads the team on the boards with 7.1 rebounds per game.
* Following their game with the Maroons, the Yellowjackets will remain home for a matchup with #20 WashU on Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rochester leads the all-time series 39-37 over UChicago.
* The Maroons have won three consecutive games over the Yellowjackets, including a 72-63 victory last week.
