Kyle Klosak

Kyle Klosak enters his fourth year as the Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Chicago in the 2025-26 academic year.

Klosak comes to UChicago after a seven-year tenure as Assistant Baseball Coach and Pitching Coach at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill. (2015-22). He executed all in-game managerial decisions involving the pitching staff. Klosak assisted with practice and game planning, recruiting prospective student-athletes, player performance development, and upkeep of the field and equipment. He also built and implemented the team's weightlifting program.

In 2019, the Chaparrals boasted the lowest ERA in the region, which also ranked 11th in the nation. COD recorded the second-lowest ERA in the region during the 2022 season. Over the past three seasons, the squad has won 73 percent of its home games.

Klosak has held the role of Head Trainer at TPS Sports Performance since 2020, where he designs and instructs training sessions for baseball, basketball, football, hockey and softball athletes. Additionally, he serves as the Assistant Baseball Coach as well as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Chicago Select.

Klosak earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Lewis University (2015), where he also played on the baseball team.
