Max Andrews enters his third season on the football coaching staff at the University of Chicago in 2025.

Andrews spent time as the Offensive Line Coach, the Run Game Coordinator, and the Recruiting Coordinator in 2023, and he was elevated to the Interim Head Coach role in 2024. In 2025, he will move to his third different position in as many years as the Offensive Coordinator for the Maroons.

Andrews arrived in Hyde Park from the University of Maine football program. He held dual responsibilities as Assistant Offensive Line Coach and Quality Control Coach for the Black Bears during the 2022 season.

Previously, Andrews was the Offensive Line Coach at Foxcroft Academy from 2018-21. He also contributed as Special Teams Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coach during his time on the campus. The Ponies won back-to-back state titles with Andrews on staff.

Andrews received his Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Maine in 2016, and he also played four years for the Black Bears at tight end and offensive line.
