Mendoza enters his first season as a volunteer graduate student coach for the men's soccer team in 2025-26.
A 2024 graduate from the University of Chicago, Mendoza appeared in 44 games with 19 starts and tallied 9 goals and 3 assists during his time as a Maroon. Mendoza was also a member of the 2022 National Championship team. On the coaching staff, Mendoza assists with performance data tracking and analysis for the Maroons.
