ELMHURST, Ill. -- The University of Chicago wrestling team lost its dual meet at Elmhurst College 35-3 on Saturday. The Maroons fell to 0-4 on the season while the Bluejays improved to 1-0.
Freshman Charlie Banaszak kept his strong start to the season rolling with a narrow 8-7 decision victory at 141 pounds. He ran his record to 3-1 on the year.
UChicago lost several close matches, including three matches by one or two points and one loss in overtime.
