Carroll captured the No. 1 doubles spot, but it was all Maroons from there. The No. 2 and No. 3 doubles wins came by scores of 8-1 and 8-0, respectively. UChicago was even more dominating in singles and only allowed one game total in the second set of its six matches. The freshmen trio of Peter Leung, David Liu and Michael Selin all posted shutout 6-0, 6-0 victories.
"We did a nice job of coming back today after a big win the night before to take care of business," Head Coach Jay Tee said. "The scores reflect that we played with focus and determination until the end. The wins this weekend put us in a good spot as we head into some of our tougher matches of the year."
