BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Chicago indoor track & field teams wrapped up the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday with two more All-American awards.
In the final team standings, the Maroon women finished sixth overall in the two-day national meet.
Simon Dixon added an All-American honor to his stellar indoor season. The UChicago rookie placed third overall in the men's shot put with a top throw of 17.07 meters.
The women's 3,000 meters featured four Maroons in competition. Maddie Kelly tallied a national runner-up finish for her second All-American award of the weekend – she tied her own school record with a time of 9:30.34.
