HOLLAND, MI—The University of Chicago Women's Soccer team traveled to Holland and tied the Flying Dutch 1-1 on Saturday.
In the first half, UChicago held the shot advantage 15-2, but were unable to get on the board and went into halftime tied 0-0.
It was Hope who scored the first goal in the 50
th minute off a penalty kick by Madison Holloway. Eight minutes later, UChicago evened the score with goal by
Hannah Rittenhouse, also a penalty kick. Overall, the Maroons held the advantage in shots 28-10. Rittenhouse had 5 shots on goal.

With the tie, UChicago moves to 5-1-2 on the season. They take on Carroll College at home on Wednesday at 4:00 PM.
