CHICAGO, IL- UChicago Women's Soccer came through with an exciting victory this evening against Carroll with a final score of 3-0.
After a quiet first half, the Maroons came out strong in the 61
st minute with a low-center goal scored by freshman
Kamiryn Grimes, assisted by junior forward
Sarah Ginsburg. Following shortly after,
Hannah Rittenhouse hit a low-left shot deep into the goal to bring the lead up to 2-0. To finish it off in the 86
th minute, junior
Josie Majowka snuck in a low-right goal to top the final score to 3-0.
The Maroons' next competition will be at home this Saturday with their first conference match-up against Rochester at 11:00am.
