Volleyball Wins in Straight Sets on Final Day of UAA Round Robin #1

CLEVELAND, OH- On the second day of the first UAA round robin, UChicago Volleyball swept Rochester 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-12).
 
Leading the way for the Maroons was Diya Mishra, who hit .375, finishing the match with 14 kills and 6 aces. As a team, UChicago hit .284 and had 14 aces against Rochester.
 
On the net, Jillian Amsler had another strong game, recording 8 blocks. Maggie McInerney added 10 Kills, 2 aces, and 9 digs. Setter Maya Patel had 28 assists in the match along with 3 blocks.
 
UChicago finishes the weekend 1-2. Next up, UChicago travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday to take on #4 Calvin. Game time is set for 7:00 PM Eastern/6:00 PM Central.
