#5 Chicago Men’s Soccer Ties #24 Calvin 1-1

CHICAGO, IL-UChicago Men's Soccer tied Calvin College 1-1 on Wednesday evening.
 
It was a quick start by Calvin, who scored in the 2nd minute of the game with a goal by Colin Iverson. The first half was even between the two teams, with each having 5 shots and getting 2 saves. The Knights entered halftime with a 1-0 lead.
 
The second half was a different story, as UChicago held possession and took 11 shots to Calvin's 0. In the 62nd minute, Lyndon Hu connected for the equalizer, to bring the score to 1-1. While UChicago dominated the offense, the Calvin goalie had 5 goals in the second half to protect the tie.  Tanner Baldwin led the Maroons in shots for the night with 3 (2 on goal).
 
The Maroons take on the University of Rochester on Saturday to open UAA conference play. Gametime is set for 1:30 PM.
