UChicago Women's Soccer Opens UAA play with 2-2 Tie vs. Rochester

CHICAGO, IL- UChicago Women's Soccer opened their first weekend of UAA conference play with a 2-2 draw against Rochester.

UChicago was the first to put points on the board with a goal from Raquel dos Santos in the 33rd minute, assisted by Kaitlyn Gomez.

Rochester followed closely afterward in the 47th minute to bring the game to a 1-1 tie in the early second half. Freshman forward Ella Cho pulled the Maroons ahead again with a goal in the 66th minute, however Rochester was able to place a late goal that brought the final score to 2-2.

The Maroons will bring Alma Women's Soccer to their home field for their next competition on Tuesday, October 3 at 4:00pm.
