CHICAGO – (RV) University of Chicago welcomed Augustana to Stagg Field for the teams CCIW regular season home finale on Saturday afternoon. The Maroons continued to dominate their conference competition and won their fifth contest in a row with a 26-2 victory over the Vikings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- (RV) University of Chicago (8-4, 4-0 CCIW) got off to yet another hot start and netted their first opening half goal when Jane Chen used one of her seven assists in the contest to set up the first of four goals from Lulu Hardy just 44 seconds into the ballgame. The Maroons would score 13 in the first quarter and six in the second as they led 19-0 at halftime.
- Seven more goals would follow in the second half and UChicago would lead 22-0 before Augustana (2-10, 1-4 CCIW) put their first crooked number up on the scoreboard as the third stanza came to a close. The Vikings would get one more in the fourth, but the Maroons never had to disengage cruise control as the contest came to its very quick conclusion in an hour and a half.
- Rachel Keefe won her 41st career game in goal and stopped Augustana's lone free position shot attempt while UChicago went 6-for-6 in clears and won all but five of the 30 draw controls in their 26-2 win.
