Grand Rapids, MI – #6 University of Chicago women's soccer suffered their first loss of the season at Calvin University on Saturday afternoon. In the extremely tough match, the Maroons were outscored by two.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In both the second and first half, the Maroons were more aggressive than Calvin. Recording one more shot in the first half and eight more shots in the second, a lack of shots were not a problem for Chicago.
- Goalkeeper Sophie Pilarski recorded a total of three saves on Calvin's total 11 shots. It was the most amount she faced all season. Pilarski also played all 90 minutes for the fourth time this season.
- Avery Gallucci scored the only goal for the Maroons in the 55th minute of the match. After just coming in, in the 45th minute the junior put one in the net to get the Maroons on the board.
