CLEVELAND, Ohio - In a high-stakes UAA matchup, the University of Chicago Maroons were narrowly defeated by Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), 83-79, at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland. The loss drops UChicago to 16-6 overall and 7-4 in UAA play, while CWRU improves to 7-15 and 3-8 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UChicago came out strong in the first half, shooting an impressive 59.4% from the field (19-32) and 52.9% from three-point range (9-17). The Maroons were led by guard Eamonn Kenah, who poured in 25 points, including five three-pointers. Thomas Kurowski also added 19 points, while Joe Berry chipped in with 9 points and 5 rebounds. The Maroons entered the break with a 48-43 lead, thanks to a fast-paced offense and a steady flow of points from beyond the arc.
