GAMBIER, Ohio – The University of Chicago women's lacrosse team delivered a commanding 20-8 victory over Kenyon College on Saturday at the Field at Benson Bowl, securing its third victory of the season. 
 

The Maroons (3-1) set the tone early, outscoring Kenyon 4-1 in the opening quarter and maintaining control throughout the contest. The offensive trio of Jill Hooey, Wynne Boggan, and Sora Choi led the way, each scoring four goals to fuel the Maroons' attack. Avery Song added a hat trick, while Skylar Lienhardt chipped in with a pair of goals. 
 

UChicago controlled possession and tempo, outshooting Kenyon 48-27, including a 41-18 edge in shots on goal. The Maroons also won the ground ball battle 25-18 and capitalized on turnovers, forcing 15 giveaways while limiting their own to just 10. 
 

The game remained competitive through the first half, with UChicago leading 9-4 at the break. A strong third-quarter push extended the advantage to 13-5, and the Maroons pulled away with a 7-3 scoring edge in the final frame. 
 

Goalkeeper Rachel Keefe recorded 10 saves for UChicago. With the victory, UChicago improves to 3-1 on the season and looks to continue its strong play against #23 Denison on Sunday, March 2 at 10:00 AM CST.
