KENOSHA, Wis. -- The University of Chicago women's track and field team had six student-athletes compete in their finale meet of the regular season at the Firebird Finale at Carthage College on Friday afternoon.
Elizabeth Mulvaney led the Maroons with the lone first-place of the meet on Friday afternoon. The sophomore won the High Jump event with a mark of 5' 3.25", narrowly missing her season-high mark.
Celeste Taylor added a top-3 finish in the Pole Vault event with a mark of 11' 3.75", and
Chloe Hayden also added a top-3 finish in the 400m Dash with a time of 1:02.30.
Following this meet, the track portion of the team will cap off their season on Saturday afternoon at the Wartburg Final Qualifier. The final qualifiers for the men's track and field Indoor National Championships will be announced by the NCAA on Sunday, March 9.
