CHICAGO, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's track and field team returns to action this week as they take part in a weekend doubleheader at UW-Platteville on Friday and Wheaton (IL) on Saturday. * The University of Chicago has opened their outdoor season with several impressive performances at the WashU Invitational, Millikin Big Blue Alumni Invite, and Chicagoland Championships.
* The Maroons took home a sixth place finish from the NCAA Indoor National Championships.
* The Distance Medley Relay team of Nora Holmes, Ren Brown, Emma Kelly, and Claudia Harnett won the National Championship to highlight the UChicago performance at Nationals.
* UChicago is currently ranked 6th in NCAA Division III, 3rd in the Midwest Region, and 3rd in the UAA by the USTFCCCA.
* The Maroons currently have 12 athletes ranked in the top-4 of the UAA, 11 athletes ranked in the top-5 of the Midwest Region, and 9 athletes ranked in the top-20 of the NCAA Division III.
* Ren Brown is ranked 1st in NCAA Division III, 1st in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 59.74.
* Brown is also ranked 8th in NCAA Division III, 1st in the Midwest Region, and 2nd in the UAA in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 14.28.
* Gabriela Meschino is ranked 3rd in NCAA Division III, 2nd in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 100m Dash with a time of 11.78.
* Anna Watson is ranked 7th in NCAA Division III, 2nd in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 5000m Run with a time of 16:56.62.
* Claudia Harnett is ranked 8th in NCAA Division III,  3rd in the Midwest Region, and 4th in the UAA in the 800m Dash with a time of 2:12.17.
* Nora Holmes is ranked 10th in NCAA Division III, 3rd in the Midwest Region, and 2nd in the UAA in the 5000m Run with a time of 17:06.07.
* Estelle Snider is ranked 11th in NCAA Division III, 2nd in the Midwest Region, and 1st in the UAA in the 10000m Run with a time of 35:41.70.
* Emma Kelly is ranked 19th in NCAA Division III, 5th in the Midwest Region, and 4th in the UAA in the 1500m Run with a time of 4:36.22.
* Kelly is also ranked 4th in the Midwest Region and 6th in the UAA in the 800m Run with a time of 2:14.77.
* The 4x400m Relay team of Onese Ewherido, Elisabeth Camic, Kelly, and Ava Hagwell is ranked 5th in the Midwest Region and 3rd in the UAA with a time of 4:01.83.
* Sharona Schwab is ranked 19th in NCAA Division III, 4th in the Midwest Region, and 2nd in the UAA in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:03.66.
* Elizabeth Mulvaney is ranked 4th in the UAA in the High Jump with a mark of 1.56 meters.
