ROCK ISLAND, Ill. -- The University of Chicago women's track and field team took to the track on Wednesday afternoon at Augustana in their final last chance meet of the season.

Claudia Harnett put up the top performance of the night with the #4 time in NCAA Division III and the #3 time in school history with a time of 4:24.56 en route to winning the 1500m Run. 

Ren Brown also added one of the top times in the nation in the 400m Run as she broke the school record with the #5 time in NCAA Division III at 54.90 seconds. Brown also won the 100m Hurdles, joining Harnett as the lone two event winners of the meet for the Maroons.

Both of UChicago's relay teams in the 4x100m Relay and the 4x400m Relay ran the second-fastest times in UChicago history on Wednesday night. The 4x400m Relay team of Maddie Lyons, Gabriela Meschino, Camila Garanton, and Arielle Troadec finished in third place with a time of 46.92, and the 4x100m Relay team of Camila Garanton, Ava Hagwell, Christin Facey, and Ren Brown finished in seventh place with a time of 46.78.

With the final meet of the season now complete, the Maroons will wait to see which student-athletes have qualified for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Geneva, Ohio from May 22-24.
