Box Score

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Junior 1B J.R. • Lopez then capped a four-run Chicago outburst in the top of the seventh with a run-scoring single. He finished the day 2-for-4 with five RBIs.

Notes

  • Lopez's grand slam was the second of his career. His first came against Lawrence University on Apr. 3, 2010.

  • Romanello's home run was the first allowed Chicago hurlers in 765 opponent at-bats this season.

  • In four games since returning from a three-week injury-related absence, Troncelliti has gone 8-for-13 (.615) with a pair of home runs and eight RBIs.

  • Chicago won back-to-back road games for the first time this year and only the second time since Apr. 20, 2010.
