CHICAGO – The University of Chicago women's tennis team kept its winning streak rolling with a quick and efficient 9-0 shutout of Augustana College on Monday.

The Maroons improved to 12-4 with their sixth-straight victory. The Vikings fell to 17-5.

Doubles was a snappy affair with UChicago wins by scores of 8-1, 8-2 and 8-2. Singles was similarly lopsided. First-year Lauren Park posted a shutout at No. 3 singles (6-0, 6-0) while junior Marjorie Antohi, first-year Annika Pandey and first-year Lainey Axell all surrendered only one game apiece.

All six players picked up multiple victories – Antohi, sophomore Catherine Xu, Park, first-year Nicole Semenov, Pandey and Axell.

UChicago is back in action this weekend at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship down in Altamonte Springs, Fla. The Maroons are the No. 3 seed in the eight-team bracket.
