Box Score 2 MILLINGTON, Tenn. – The University of Chicago baseball team absorbed a pair of losses to LaGrange College and Centenary College on Sunday.
The Maroons dropped to 2-4 on the season.
In game one, No. 8-ranked LaGrange topped UChicago 7-1. The Maroons were limited to two hits in the game while making three errors. Starting pitcher Drew Bryan threw six innings with three runs allowed and seven strikeouts. Hayden Brotz (2 ER) and Ethan Docter (1 R) both hurled one inning each in relief.
Game two ended with an 11-0 loss to Centenary. Starting pitcher Dylan White threw 5.1 innings, followed by John Butka for 2.2 innings and Kason Pelz for one inning. Will Benner led the offense with three hits.
