INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Chicago men's tennis team got back into the win column on Saturday against Kenyon College with a 7-2 victory.
The No. 1-ranked Maroons improved to 8-2, while the No. 20-ranked Owls fell to 1-5.
UChicago started off with doubles wins at No. 2 (Pat Otero/Jack Wong) and No. 3 (Jacob Lowen/Biren Reddy) by scores of 8-7 and 8-5, respectively. The visitors then snagged the top five singles spots to account for the final score. Derek Hsieh, Arjun Asokumar, Emil Grantcharov, Andrei Leonov and Marek Michulka all posted victories in singles competition.
