Box Score CHICAGO -- Senior midfielder Stanton Coville's (Powell, Ohio/ Olentangy Liberty) header in the 18th minute lifted the University of Chicago to a 1-0 win over Case Western Reserve University in University Athletic Association men's soccer action Friday at Stagg Field.
Off a Chicago corner kick, freshman midfielder Michael Choquette (Springfield, Mass./ Loomis Chaffee) sent a cross to Coville, who headed the ball into the net for his ninth goal of the year.
Chicago outshot the Spartans 14-8.
Team Records
Extending its winning streak to three games, Chicago picked up its first UAA win of the year against four defeats and improved to 8-6-2 overall. Case slipped to 12-4 overall (3-2 UAA) as its five-game winning streak came to an end.

Sophomore defender Terrell White (Lumberton, N.J./ Rancocas Valley) (pictured) helped the Maroons hold Case's Vinny Bell, who entered the match as the sixth-leading goal scorer in the NCAA Division III (18), to just one shot on goal.
The Maroons notched their third straight shutout as freshman goalkeeper Elek Lane (Eau Claire, Wis./ Eau Claire Memorial) stopped three shots to post his sixth shutout of the year.
Chicago improved to 4-1-1 at Stagg Field with its third consecutive home field win.
Coville's goal was the 29th of his career. He needs one more to become the third player in school history to tally 30.
