UChicago Athletics & Recreation Announces Creation of The University of Chicago Women's Lacrosse Fund

CHICAGO – The University of Chicago Department of Athletics & Recreation is pleased to announce the creation of the University of Chicago Women's Lacrosse Fund.

The endowment was made possible by an anonymous donor and other lacrosse supporters. The fund will serve as a source of ongoing support for the women's lacrosse program and its priorities. It is the first endowment fund for the department that directly supports a women's sport.

"We are incredibly grateful for the formation of this endowment for the women's lacrosse program," said Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Kate Robinson. "The support from this endowment fund will directly impact and enhance the student-athlete experience of our lacrosse players, both now and in the future. As the newest program in the department, this is extremely foundational as we continue to build and grow. We are sincerely appreciative and excited for the potential that this fund represents. I cannot thank the donors and UChicago lacrosse supporters enough for this amazing gift."
