ROCHESTER, N.Y. – In its first conference game of the season, the University of Chicago men's soccer team secured a 1-0 road victory at University of Rochester on Sunday.

The No. 1-ranked Maroons improved to 10-0 overall and 1-0 in the University Athletic Association (UAA). The No. 22-ranked Yellowjackets fell to 5-2-2 (0-1 UAA).

After a scoreless first half, UChicago struck the big blow in the 66th minute. Sophomore Lyndon Hu notched the game's lone goal with an assist from first-year Alex Lee.

The Maroon defense did not allow a shot over the final 26 minutes to secure the squad's sixth shutout of the season.

The final box score featured a 15-7 lead in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks for UChicago.

Junior goalkeeper Will Boyes (10-0 record) made one save in his 90 minutes of action.
