ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The first conference game of the season saw the University of Chicago women's soccer team battle to a scoreless draw on the road against University of Rochester on Sunday.

The result brings the Maroons' record to 7-3-1, while the Yellowjackets moved to 5-1-4 on the year.

Sophomore goalkeeper Sophie Pilarski and the Maroon defense have now shut out opponents seven times this year, including a current streak of three in-a-row. The visitors kept the Yellowjackets at bay as Rochester got off 10 shots, with four on goal.

However, the Maroons were limited in their offensive chances as well. UChicago turned in seven shots with three on goal. Both teams attempted three corner kicks.
