Box Score BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – University of Chicago's 16th-ranked women's lacrosse program notched another dominant victory in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) play on Saturday, defeating Illinois Wesleyan University 23-1.
The Maroons have now won seven in-a-row and scored 23 or more goals in all of their CCIW matchups. Lulu Hardy led the offensive effort with seven goals and Katie Large helped facilitate the attack with five assists.
Camille Kuwana and Avery Song each had three goals in support. Jane Chen had six assists while Zoe Torok had three. Peyton Sanborn, Evelina Swigart and Skylar Lienhardt found the back of the net two times apiece. Charlotte Semlies, Charlotte Rapp, Grace Harrell and Sophia Paesano each scored once to round out the Maroon goal scorers.
Rachel Keefe (11-2) split the action in net with Emily Feigen with each keeper stopping one shot. As a team, UChicago caused 14 turnovers and won 18 draw controls.
The Maroons take on Carroll at home in CCIW action on Wednesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. CT.
