CHICAGO – University of Chicago's top-ranked and undefeated men's soccer program continued its winning ways on Saturday, downing Emory 3-0 at home in University Athletic Association (UAA) action.

UChicago's goals were scored by Ryan Yetishefsky, Naz Kabbani and Alex Lee as the Maroons outshot Emory 15-4 in the match.

The Maroons took an early advantage when Yetishefsky scored via a Kai Walsh assist in the 21st minute. UChicago defended soundly to see out the first half and took the 1-0 advantage into halftime.

In the final 45 minutes, Kabbani added a tally in the 47nd minute to double the Maroons' lead, pouncing on a rebound from his previous shot and slotting it past the keeper. Lee's goal came in the 65th minute as Ryan Shea found his attack counterpart with an unselfish pass, of which Lee sent into an open goal.

UChicago finished out the match, securing the seventh clean sheet in 2022 for the defense and goalie Will Boyes. The Maroons continue UAA play on Friday, Oct. 14, hosting Carnegie Mellon at 2 p.m.
