Barret Van Sicklen utilized his offensive prowess to become the top UChicago men's soccer scorer of the last 40 years. His 32 goals and 85 points stand fourth in the career school rankings and his 21 assists are third. Van Sicklen's 16 goals in 2001 netted him First Team All-Region accolades, and he followed up with a Second Team All-Region honor in 2002. He was also First Team All-UAA in both of those years. During Van Sicklen's time on the team, the Maroons won 44 matches – the program's best four-year win total up until that point.
