Paul "Tony" Hinkle was a three-sport athlete in men's basketball, football and baseball. As a basketball player, he was picked as a Helms All-American in 1919 and 1920. Hinkle was part of the 1919-20 basketball team that went 27-8 and won the Western Conference (now the Big Ten Conference) title. Professionally, he went on to be a successful three-sport coach at Butler University and was selected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1965.
