Erin Slone was a prolific hitter for the Maroon softball team who left her mark in the school record books. Playing primarily at third base and catcher, Slone collected three All-Region accolades and was a Third Team All-American in 1998. She stands in the program's top five in seven career categories and five season categories. Slone is the all-time leader in runs (107) to go with a .440 batting average (4th), 164 hits (3rd), 60 stolen bases (2nd), 37 doubles (2nd), 17 home runs (2nd) and 85 RBI (2nd). Over her four years, UChicago posted a record of 95-45-3 (.675 winning percentage) with two berths in the NCAA postseason.
